Condo towers on one side, single-family streets on the other.
Near Belmar it is controlled-access condos with service elevators and time slots. West toward Green Mountain it is houses with driveways, basements and two-car garages. The hourly rate is identical; the hours are not, and we say which you are looking at before you book.
Moving within Lakewood costs the same as anywhere else we work: $149 an hour for two movers and a truck, 3 hours minimum, travel time already inside the rate. There is no Lakewood zone fee.
What changes the number is access, not the postcode. Which floor, whether there is a lift, how close the truck parks. We ask those three on the call and the estimate follows from the answers.
Blankets, shrink wrap and floor protection come with every crew. Furniture is taken apart and rebuilt, and boxes land in the room written on the label.
